I live on the very edge of a large continent. I cook, knit, draw, drink inordinate amounts of tea and cross-stitch - obviously, I'll tell you all about it.
I was born twenty-some years ago on a nice Sunday morning in mid-September. Now, as far as I can recall, it always rains on September the fourteenth. I was born in a place I call Cloud City - with even the slightest keenness, you can deduce where that is. I grew up in a town with one stoplight (it was always broken) and I had the most wonderful childhood ever - wandering in the woods, growing apples, making embroidered tea towels and reading every book within my reach.
My family consists of the greatest bookworms I know, so 'books within my reach' were legion and reading what I read and as much as I read of it may have shaped me into who I am now. I value knowledge and intellect above all else and my life is driven by wanting to know more.
I dearly love sports, crafts, nature and science.
What else need you know about me?
Oh, and before you ask, my screen name arose from a random thought and the Whomping Willow. It makes no sense whatsoever, but I like willows and you are welcome to call me so.
